Since Kylemore House opened its doors 20 years ago Ruth Behan, Proprietor, has dedicated her time to ensure that it is a place of care and respect, high standards and innovation, and a home that she and her staff would be proud of.
Over the years Kylemore House has won the highest awards in the country for Nursing Home care. In the very first year of its introduction Kylemore House received the EIQA Award (National Quality and Excellence Awards) and Mary Harney, Minister of Health, presented the award at that time.
Kylemore House continues to be considered a first class
nursing home. Two of its
