Kylemore Day Care is a purpose built single storey building with pedestrian and wheelchair access from the car park. It is in operation since 1994 and has proven to be a valuable resource for the community. Clients may attend for any period of time form 1 to 5 days per week and charges are based on the length of their stay. Diversional therapy is emphasised encouraging active participation specifically devised daily activities.
Experienced staff attend to all aspects of clients health and well being.
Safety, combined with comfort, good food and care are a priority. Our day care activities allow the elderly to make new friends and expand their interests. Careful attention provides constant encouragement, friendly banter and recognition of each individual’s physical and mental state. All locations throughout the Day Care have wheelchair access. Special diets are catered for and our daily menus are varied and tasty to include morning and afternoon tea, a three course meal and high tea.
There are modern shower facilities where our staff will pamper clients with warm towels, careful handling, and attention to any disability they may have.
