Kylemore House is blessed with staff who "love what they do".  They form a dedicated team and are the back-bone of the care and excellence that is to be found throughout the home.  Some of the main staff members are listed below:

Director of Nursing:  

Jasmin Echavez heads a team of dedicated nurses who give total care, attention and medical expertise to all of our residence.  Jasmin has been with Kylemore House for the past seven years.  As well as her professional nursing experience she brings with her bright, cheerful, calm and respectful energy to the leadership of her nursing and care team.

Manager:

Patricia Neary joined Kylemore House over 18 years ago and since then has been an integral part of the success of the nursing home.  Patricia ensures the standard of excellence is maintained in all areas throughout the home.  Patricia has that extra quality that makes Kylemore House a special place to be, she is deeply spiritual and extends her compassionate and respectful nature to help make Kylemore a place of comfort and care, a place of excellence for the elderly and all who come through its doors.

Systems Manager: 

Liz Watts joined Kylemore House 5 years ago.  Liz's exacts great attention to detail and is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care through the maintenance of policies and communication.  Liz ensures the upkeep of standards thorough her deeply held goal of upholding professional integrity  which in turn ensures the excellence of care for all clients and staff alike.

Activities Manager:

Cristina Tauro is our bubbly enthusiastic Activities Therapist who has been with Kylemore Nursing Home since her arrival in Ireland over 5 years ago.  Cristina has continued to train and assist residents, including introducing new innovative projects such as Sonas.  Sonas is a therapy developed for clients with communication difficulties associated with dementia and Alzheimers.  It involves multi-sensory stimulation with music, touch, scent and taste. 

Physiotherapist: 

Fiona Smyth is our Physiotherapist. She joined our team a year ago and is responsible for assessing each resident, providing a suitable physiotherapy programme tailored to their individual needs and recommendations.  She has a key role in the multidisciplinary team and liaises with GPs to ensure the best possible treatment for all residents.  Fiona also works closely with Cristina to provide support for activities.  Her positive, good humoured and attentive professional attitude helps clients focus and complete their programme of activities.
